Hillsboro Traffic Alert: Police Say Start Planning for May Closure of Evergreen Parkway

It's never too early to start planning for a major road closure.

That's the message from the Hillsboro Police Department.

Earlier today, they tweeted out a warning about a closure coming in May.

Washington County says the work is necessary for a contractor to reconstruct the roadway at the railroad tracks and closing the road is "the safest and most efficient option."

From May 16-30, drivers will need to use Cornelius Pass, Cornell and Aloclek.

For TriMet users: Bus stops on Evergreen at 215th Avenue will be temporarily closed during this time. Utilize the bus stops at Aloclek on Evergreen during the two week closure.
