Media Report Leads to Missing Man Being Found

A man with dementia and Parkinson's was found late Friday after he was spotted by someone who had seen his story on the news.

Johnson Wang was found safe in Beaverton hours after having been reported missing.

His caregiver said that he had last been seen in the area of SW Canyon Road and SW Walker Road in the West Slope neighborhood.

Police had been concerned because Wang's dementia has been leading him to speak Chinese even though he is fluent in English.

After being located, he was evaluated by EMS and found to be in good health.

He was then returned home.
