New Census Bureau Numbers Chart Washington County Growth
Second most populous county in the state

New numbers out from the Census Bureau have Washington County continuing to be Oregon's second most populous county with 574,326.
That's a 2.0 percent growth over the year before.
Most of the county's population growth was fueled by people moving in.

Of the 11,053 people became residents of Washington County between 2014 and 2015, 2,182 moved from overseas and 4,507 moved from other parts of the United States.
It's a trend that has been developing over the past several years.

From 2010-2015, of the 44,477 people who became residents of Washington County, 22,167 moved there (as opposed to being born there)
Overall, the state 's population kept growing There are now more than four million people who call themselves Oregonian.
Oregon's growth was the ninth largest by percent n the country.
Of the state's 36 counties, 29 saw their population grow.
The largest percentage increase was in Crook County, which saw 2.8 percent bump in population followed by Washington County, which grew by 2 percent/
Gliiliam County saw the biggest percentage drop in population. Of the 1,924 people who lived there in 2014, 3.4 percent moved out.
