Police Seek Help Locating Missing Hillsboro Man

Ronald Jones was last seen on the evening of June 2 near Southeast Brookwood Avenue and the Tualatin Valley Highway.

HILLSBORO, OR — Police on Tuesday said they are asking the public for help finding a missing Hillsboro man who suffers from an "emotional disability."

Ronald Ray Jones, 55, was last seen near Southeast Brookwood Avenue and the Tualatin Valley Highway on Friday, June 2, between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., Hillsboro police spokesman Lt. Henry Reimann said.

Jones is described as a white male, 5-foot 5-inches tall, and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing black basketball shorts, a green and black shirt, and ECCO sandals, Reimann said.

When he left his home, Jones did not take his phone, keys, wallet, or medication. (Jones recently had several major surgeries and was diagnosed with an emotional disability, Reimann said, for which he was prescribed the medication, presumably.)

Jones' disappearance is reportedly a threat to his own health and safety.
