"Popular" Caller of Square Dances Busted on Child Sex Abuse Charges
Charles William Garner pleaded not guilty.
A man described by Tualatin Police as "a popular square dance caller from the Portland area" is under arrest on a variety of charges including rape, sodomy, and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct. Charles William Garner, 55, was arrested Friday.
On Monday he appeared in Washington County Court and pleaded not guilty.
Police say that they believe that there are more victims out there and urge "anyone who may have had contact with Mr. Garner" and may be aware of criminal activity to call investigators at 503-691-4862.

Garner was convicted in 1995 of kidnapping and sex abuse.
