Thief Arrested After Stealing Rolexes in Washington Square Smash and Grab Say Police

Police say Anthony Patterson stole three Rolexes worth $100,000

One person in custody after a robbery at the Ben Bridge jewelry store at Washington Square Mall.

Police say that 18-year-old Anthony Patterson of Flint, Michigan used a sledgehammer to smash a case from which he stole three Rolexes.

The watches, worth more than $100,000, were recovered.

Patterson was found a short time after by a K( unit.

He is charged with theft, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.

The Tigard Police Department was assisted by the Beaverton Police Department, Washington County Sheriff's Office, and others.
