Touchstone Preschoolers in Hillsboro Donate 70 Pairs of Pajamas

Students at Touchstone Preschool in Hillsboro recently donated more than 70 pairs of pajamas and more than 20 books in support of Scholastic’s 11th Annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive. Students hosted a drive to collect donations of books and brand-new pajamas in all sizes, from newborn to adult. In celebration of their efforts, students hosted a pajama party, during which students and teachers wore their pajamas to school. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

Scholastic’s Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive is an annual initiative in support of the Pajama Program, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes and supports a comforting bedtime routine for children affected by instability to help them thrive. Pajama Program was founded in 2001 and has delivered more than 6 million good nights for good days. For every pair of pajamas donated, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate a brand-new book to Pajama Program to be distributed to children in need.
