Washington County Officials Identify Man Found Dead in Bethany Lake Park
Police searched the area earlier this week but found nothing. That changed Wednesday.

HILLSBORO, OR – The body of a man pulled from the water at Bethany Lake Park has been identified by the Washington County Medical Examiner.
Bethany resident John J. Walsdorf II, 46, was positively identified Mar. 16 after having been found floating in the water at Bethany Lake Park Mar. 15.
Reported missing by his family Mar. 1, Washington County Search & Rescue crews searched the park earlier for Walsdorf, who was believed to be suicidal, but did not locate him.

Foul play is not suspected at this time, police said, and there is no danger to the public.
