Severe Weather Shelters In Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, OR — With temperatures expected to dip below freezing with more regularity as we progress through December and into winter in earnest, Washington County's severe weather shelters are reminding at-risk individuals and families to seek help at any one of the nine shelters located in Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin, and/or Sherwood.

BEAVERTON

Beaverton Just Compassion — 12350 S.W. Fifth St.

• For adults, age 18 and older.
• Open Thursdays through March 30, 2018, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
  • Intake ends at 9 p.m.
• Week of Dec. 10: Open Sunday and Thursday
• No pets allowed
• Meal provided

FOREST GROVE

• Families with children and adults, age 18 and older.
• Open Mondays and Tuesdays through March 28, 2018, beginning at 7 p.m.

• Open daily through Feb. 28, 2018. Applications accepted daily from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Intake: Sundays through Fridays from 5:45 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 to 8:30 p.m.
