• TriMet service changes take effect this weekend: What to know (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego riders will see TriMet changes this Sunday, including the Lake Grove and Boones Ferry Road routes being combined and shifted, plus the elimination of Line 153 Stafford/Salamo. These cuts are part of a regionwide service reduction to close a $158 million budget gap, so commuters across nearby cities will need to check new schedules and transfer points.
   

• Salinas proposes program to bolster first responder mental health (salemreporter.com) — Lake Oswego hosted a key moment in a new push to support first responders' mental health, as Rep. Andrea Salinas unveiled a bipartisan bill at a local Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue station. The proposal would fund nationwide suicide prevention, counseling, and family support programs for firefighters and EMS workers, reflecting growing concern over trauma and burnout during intense wildfire seasons.
