• Bi-Partisan Bill Proposed to Provide Firefighters, EMS with Mental Health Support (firehouse.com) — First responders at a Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue station near Lake Oswego served as the backdrop as Rep. Andrea Salinas unveiled a bipartisan bill to fund mental health support for firefighters and EMS nationwide. The proposal would create a $7.5 million annual grant program for suicide prevention, counseling, peer support, and family services to address the toll of traumatic calls.
