• Lake Oswego police log: A car stuck on train tracks, fights and more (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Recent Lake Oswego police calls included juveniles trespassing at the closed Swim Park, a car briefly stranded on train tracks before being moved, and a fight between bus riders. Officers also handled graffiti at Rassekh Park, porch package theft, e-bike complaints, and fraud cases costing one resident more than $10,000.
   

• Lake Oswego girls soccer battles talented Camas to tie (lakeoswegoreview.com) — Lake Oswego High's girls soccer team twice led visiting Camas before settling for a 2-2 draw at home, highlighted by two goals from junior forward Leena Bristol. Players say the tough non-league schedule at Lake Oswego High is sharpening them for Three Rivers League play, which they'll open by hosting West Linn on Thursday, Oct. 1.
   

• Sept. 24 public safety round-up for the Newberg, Dundee areas (newberggraphic.com) — A Newberg-Dundee police log notes that a 62-year-old Lake Oswego resident was arrested in the area on controlled substance and DUII charges during the Sept. 16–23 period. The roundup also lists several other arrests in nearby cities and numerous Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue medical and fire responses across Newberg and Dundee.
