Deputy and Police Dog to the Rescue! Find Missing Autistic Teen
Austin Davis had gone hunting for bugs and not returned.

It's not unusual when a 14-year-old boy goes out hunting for bugs. But when teen is autistic and still hasn't returned after one hour, that's cause for concern.
That's what happened Sunday afternoon in Marion Count, not far from Mt. Angel.
Austin Davis had gone out around 1:00 on the 11000 block of Beyer Lane Northeast Lane.

When he had not returned around 2:00, they went looking for him. They found an article of his clothing along the banks of the Pudding River.
They called the sheriff's office.

Deputy Jason Bernards and his K9 partner, Rolo, along with water rescue teams from the sheriff's office and Salem Fire Department, started searching.
Around 3:20, Bernards and Rolo found Austin on the opposite of the Pudding River.
He was okay.
With deputies watching, he went back to his side of the river and was reunited with his parents.
No word on whether he caught any bugs.
