Hazing Lawsuit Against School District Moves Forward
Federal judge hears arguments on motions from both sides.

Motions in a lawsuit brought by the parents of a former Lakeridge High School dancer charging the school district failed to provide a safe environment were argued Tuesday in Federal Court.
The suit, filed in March 2015, by the parents of a girl referred to as "S.A." in court documents, alleges that she was hazed as part of an initiation and that when she complained, she was subjected to abuse and bullying.

According to the Lake Oswego Review, the lawyer for the family told the judge: "S.A. is the lone voice to stand up and be courageous and try to stop this. This case is also about everything (the defendants) didn't do."
