Investigators Probe Late Night Restaurant Fire
Lake Oswego Fire assist in bringing blaze under control.
A late night fire at Miller's Homestead Restaurant on McEwan Road in Tualatin is under investigation.
It was just before midnight when a someone walking by the restaurant saw billowing smoke coming from the roof and immediately called 9-1-1.
Within minutes, crews from Lake Oswego Fire and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue arrived. They saw no flames but saw the smoke coming from the roof and eaves.

They went to work getting inside and fighting the fire. After about 15 minutes - things changed dramatically.
"We had to withdraw crews from the structure due to an extreme electrical hazard," said TVF&R Battalion Chief Dan Griffin.

Firefighters sprayed water from the outside, including the use of an aerial truck to flow water from above the structure, he said.
PGE cut the power and crews were able to get back inside the building.
The fire was declared under control about 1:00 a.m..
The owners of Miller's Homestead Restaurant told TVF&R that their "goal is to re-open as soon as possible to serve our customers."
