Lake Oswego City Council Approves Three Ballot Measures for November
Whether or not to extend the marijuana ban is one of the questions.

The Lake Oswego City Council has approved three questions for residents to consider when they vote this November:
Should the city extend its marijuana industry ban - if voters vote no, marijuana businesses will be allowed;
Can the city adjust its charter rules governing election notices to reflect the fact that Oregon is now vote by mail; and

Should the city build its own high-speed fiber internet service.

The council also approved a $214.4 million budget that includes:
$475,000 for new bike and pathway projects;
$3.1. million for street maintenance; and
$250,00o  to replace lighting at George Rogers Park.
It notably does not include a property tax hike.
