Lake Oswego High School Principal Resigning

Cindy Schubert, the principal of Lake Oswego High School, is stepping down.

Schubert, who has been principal for four years, was assistant principal for a decade before that.

"My many positive experiences here, both professional and personal, will be treasured forever," she said in an email to parents.

A grandmother, Schubert told parents she plans on spending more time with her grandchildren and will continue being involved in the high school as one of her children is still a student there.

Her resignation becomes effective July 1.
