Lake Oswego Hit By Rash of AED Thefts
Police say there have been eight thefts dating back to March.
A thief is targeting commercial buildings in Lake Oswego, stealing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), according to the Lake Oswego Police Department. There have been eight thefts dating back to March of this year.
The most recent theft happened in October. All of the buildings are on Meadows Road. The thefts all happened during normal business hours.
In each case, the thief is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s.

Police say the thief entered the main building lobbies and went directly to the AED cabinets where he took the AED and immediately fled.

The Lake Oswego Police Department is offering a $1000.00 reward for information resulting in the successful prosecution of the suspect.
The devices are valued a combined $10,602, according to police.
