Duin told Patch Friday morning that a bomb threat found written on a wall in a girls' bathroom prompted a school evacuation around 9:15 a.m. May 5. All students were evacuated "out of an abundance of caution," Duin said, to a nearby unused elementary school called the Uplands Facility.
Students will be released to their families at 11:30 a.m. while Lake Oswego police conduct a thorough search of the junior high school, Duin said.
