Lake Oswego Junior High School has a new principal.
Dr. Sara Deboy starts July 1.
Deboy has been with the Lake Oswego School District since 2007 when she was hired as principal of Lake Grove Elementary.

She got her doctorate from the University of Oregon and is an adjunct professor at the University of Portland..
"Sara impressed the committee with her knowledge and expertise in curriculum and instruction," said Superintendent Heather Beck.

"She also possesses great personal warmth, contagious enthusiasm for her work, and an open approachability that fosters the strong relationships that sustain great school communities. We are looking forward to introducing Sara to the great school community at LOJHS."
