The contest is open to all kids - even homeschooled - in grades six through 12.

Sixth, seventh, and eight graders are invited to write essays on the topic.
If you are in grades nine through 12, judges will be looking for digital media presentations such as videos and power point.

There will be one winner for each category with the winner getting a $100 gift card and the chance to be honored at a City Council meeting in June.
The winners will then be entered in the statewide competition.
