Lake Oswego School Bond Takes Shape
Vote cis expected by September. The school board is trying to decide between two options.

Lake Oswego residents are getting closer to knowing what they will vote on in November.
The school district plans to put a bond measure on the ballot this fall and held yet another hearing this week to get community feedback.
The committee that has been developing the bond measure for the school board to consider has come up with a plan a and a plan b.

Plan A, which would cost $296,636,000, would replace both junior high schools.
Plan B, which would cost $244,626,000, would only replace Lakeridge Junior High School but would also upgrade the gym at Lake Oswego Junior High School.

The committee also developed a list of "further projects for consideration" including covered seating at Lakeridge High School and a swimming pool.
The pool, which was built in 1971, is considered to be in "critical" condition, desperately in need of repairs or replacement.
The school district has been working with the city to see if there is a partnership that could be developed so the pool could be kept out of the bond measure.
The school board is expected to vote in August or September on a final proposal to put before the voters.
