Man Busted on Theft Charges in Tualatin Tied to Lake Oswego Incident

Estifany Herrera-Cedano booked into jail on theft, identity theft.

A man arrested at the Verizon Store at 7174 SW Hazel Ferry Road in Tualatin last week after allegedly trying to buy four iPhones under someone else's name has been linked to other incidents, police say.

Tualatin Police were called to the store by an employee suspicious of Mr. Herrera-Cedano.

They determined he had tried to purchase four iPhone 6 Pluses under someone's name and account information.

Police were able to determine his identity and arrested him on charges of first degree theft and identity theft.

During the investigation, they recovered evidence linking him to a similar crime earlier in the day at a Verizon Store in Lake Oswego.

He had also been caught at that location but was just given a citation for theft and identity theft.

Tualatin officers took him and booked him into Washington County Jail.

Tualatin Police say, thanks to the internet, they found a story about Mr. Herrera-Cedano being arrested in Utah for similar crimes.
