New Principal for Westridge Elementary

Lake Oswego District has picked Kari Montgomery to be the new principal of Westridge Elementary School.

She begins July 1.

Most recently she has been the literacy coach/reading specialist at Pleasant Valley Elementary in the Centennial School District.

There, she helped create their Title 1 program and supported the implementation of progressional learning communities, curriculum mapping, and the data team process.

She has 22 years experience as a teacher and working in schools.

Montgomery sits on the board of the Portland Reading Council where she continues to serve students and support the work of educators across the Portland Metro area.
