The crash occurred around 3 p.m. April 15 outside McMinnville.

MCMINNVILLE, OR – Two people are dead and one man is in critical condition after an auto accident near McMinnville Saturday involving two Tualatin residents.

Linda Louise Stockinger, 65, of Tualatin and Marc Gregory Sloan, 54, of Bellevue, Wash., both died April 15 after Sloan’s 2016 Chevy Impala collided with the 2016 Dodge Caravan driven by 59-year-old William Eugene Stockinger, according to Oregon State Police.

Around 3 p.m., Sloan was traveling east on Highway 18 when William, who was traveling west, reportedly crossed into Sloan’s lane. The vehicle impact sent Sloan’s Impala over the highway guardrail and down an embankment, police said. Sloan was pronounced dead at the scene.
