DURHAM, OR — There may have been another cougar sighting in the Tigard-Tualatin area, according to Tualatin police. On Tuesday, the department received reports of the latest possible sighting at Durham Park, making this this second cougar sighting in two weeks.

On July 14, Tigard police reported a possible sighting at Cook Park. The two parks, which are less than one mile apart, are only separated by a small forested area, open fields, and a set of train tracks. The sighting reported Tuesday, July 25, puts the cougar in the park's north loop area around 10 a.m.

Tualatin officers patrolling the area could not located the cougar, officials said.
