Rumors About Threats at Lakeridge Junior High School Exaggerated
Principal tells Lake Oswego Review truth was much tamer.

The week after Spring Break, the principal of Lakeridge Junior High School sent an email to families saying they had been told a student had told another that he would like to blow up a building.
The Lake Oswego Review reports that led to rumors about what had or had not been planned.
As a result, the school's principal, Kurt Schultz, sent a second email to parents letting them know that there have been "no new incidents of any potential threat.'

"There was never a bomb threat at Lakeridge Junior High," Schultz told the paper. "But we have been dealing with persistent and aggressive rumors that have required a response from the school in order to reassure parents."
