[VIDEO] Lake Oswego Fire Department Rescues Horse and Rider

Neither horse nor rider were injured.

It may have been the week after Thanksgiving but a five-year-old horse and it's rider are saying their thanks for the Lake Oswego Fire Department. Firefighters were able to rescue Denver who had slid down a 100-foot embankment.

It happened last week.

Denver and his rider were on the Brookside Trail near Iron Mountain Boulevard when Denver started to slide down the embankment. His rider managed to jump clear and then worked on keeping keeping Denver calm when calling for help.
