Wanted! Arrest Warrant Issued for Man in Murder Prob

The sheriff's office says they are looking for Dean Boettcher.. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Look closely at the man in the picture. If you see him, call 9-1-1. There is a warrant for his arrest in connection with a murder late Tuesday night.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says that he is 51-year-old Dean Boettcher. He is considered and armed and dangerous, according to the sheriff's office. If you see him, do not approach him.

Deputies has responded to a report of a disturbance at a home on the 1700 block of Southeast Oatfield Road. Inside they found a man who had been murdered.

The victim has been identified as Matthew Nelson Timmons. He had been stabbed to death. The sheriff's office says that the two had been sharing a house.

Boettcher has a criminal history that includes convictions for assault and sex abuse.

Mr. Boettcher is associated with a 2010 Mini Cooper bearing Oregon License 399HJL. If anyone sees Mr. Boettcher or his vehicle they are asked to call 911 immediately and do not approach either of them.

A woman who had been sought as an associate of Boettcher's has been located and is considered a witness not a suspect.
