šŸ“° News we're reading

• TriMet service changes take effect this weekend: What to know (portlandtribune.com) — TriMet is cutting and rerouting service this Sunday in ways that directly affect Oregon City riders, including changes to Lines 31, 32, 76 and 79 serving the Oregon City Transit Center and Clackamas Community College. Expect reduced or eliminated service on some connections, longer waits in places, and new route patterns that will require transfers for trips many locals make today without them.

• Woman dies at Clackamas County Jail after saying 'I can't breathe' (oregonlive.com) — An Oregon City police call to a KFC parking lot led to the arrest of a 47-year-old woman who later died at Clackamas County Jail after repeatedly saying she couldn't breathe while restrained. Prosecutors declined to file criminal charges against deputies, but her family's attorney plans a wrongful death claim, arguing the restraint chair was used unsafely.
