• Media release: Clackamas County to hold public hearings on potential data center moratorium (mountaintimesoregon.com) — Clackamas County commissioners will hold two October public hearings in Oregon City on a proposed temporary moratorium on new data centers in unincorporated areas, and they're asking residents to weigh in. You can attend in person at the Public Services Building on Kaen Road or join online, learn the criteria for a moratorium, and share your concerns or support before commissioners decide.
• 2026 Readers Choice Awards: nominate your favorite Portland-area food cart by Oct. 5 (oregonlive.com) — A Portland-area Readers Choice contest is asking you to nominate your favorite food carts, and one of the highlighted newcomers is the Thai cart Fine O' Char in Oregon City. Locals can support that cart or any other favorite by submitting nominations online through Oct. 5, with finalists announced later that week.
