Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Adds Extra Patrols to Catch DUII Drivers
Program will last through the end of July.
In June the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrested 41 people for driving while intoxicated.
In one those cases, multiple died.
The sheriff's office wants that number even lower so in July, they are having deputies perform extra patrols.

So, starting with this holiday weekend, they will have extra patrols out every weekend this month focusing not just not the roadway but the waterways as well.

"The men and women of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office would like to remind citizens across Oregon, that everyone can play a role in preventing impaired drivers," Deputy Hayden Sanders, a spokesman for the sheriff's office said.
"If you witness impaired driving, don't hesitate to report it to your local authorities; it may save a life."
