On Oct. 31, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Main Street will be overtaken by smaller, less intoxicated ghouls and goblins as Oregon City's children descend upon downtown shops for candy and treats. Downtown Association spokeswoman Sarah Vale Rapp said the event attracts hundreds of trick-or-treating children to the downtown area.

Along with participating businesses, the officers from the Oregon City Police Department will hand out candy at Liberty Plaza. Realty By Design will take haunted Halloween portraits for families.

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., families can enjoy the Spooky Lights on the Oregon City Municipal Elevator, courtesy of Party Factory Events.
