Off-Duty Deputy Critically Injured in Motorcycle Crash with TriMet Bus Identified
Deputy was transported by LifeFlight to a local hospital.

An off-duty deputy withe Clackamas County Sheriff's Office was critically injured when his motorcycle crashed with a TriMet bus.
It happened around 5:15 Tuesday evening at the intersection of Southeast 82nd Avenue and Southeast Monterey Avenue in unincorporated Happy Valley.
The deputy, who had been on his personal motorcycle, was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital.

He has been identified as 40-year-old Justin Berry of Oregon City.
The driver of the bus, Daniel Otto, remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.

There were five passengers on the bus at the time. None were injured.
Investigators say that the bus was headed southbound on SE 82nd Avenue and started a left turn onto SE Monterey Avenue when it turned into the path of Berry's Yamaha motorcycle
The crash is still under investigation.
