Former High School Counselor Charged With Sex Abuse
Ryan Mitchell, former counselor and track coach at Rex Putnam, allegedly had relationship with student.
A former track coach and counselor at Rex Putnam High School has been indicted on sex abuse charges for allegedly having a relationship with a student. Ryan Mitchell was indicted last month and turned himself in earlier this week.
The charges, which were first reported by KATU on Thursday, state the relationship happened between June 1, 2013 and January 30, 2014.
The investigation started the following September.

Mitchell, who lives in Wilsonville, has since left the district, is out on $100,000 bail.
