Gladstone Police Looking for Missing 9-year-old

(UPDATED) Samuel Lumapas returned home April 12.

GLADSTONE, OR – Samuel Lumps returned home April 12.

Lumapas left a note at home informing his parents he was running away Wednesday morning. Now Gladstone police are asking the public to help find him.

Lumapas, who is 9 years old, was last seen in front of his home around 8:30 a.m. He is 5-foot tall and about 75 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange sweater, shorts, and basketball shoes.

Police said Lumapas left on a teal-colored bicycle, and that he took his dark green helmet with him. He also has a backpack with clothes and a piggy bank with about $70.

Police believe Lumapas left on his own free will.

Anyone who sees Lumapas or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at 503-655-8211.
