House Fire Quickly Extinguished

The entire home, though, had smoke damage.

A house fire in Oregon City was quickly brought under control Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 12:30 at 1001 Chapman Street.

Arriving firefighters saw smoke coming from two sides of the home.

They tracked the fire to a bedroom in the basement.

After they extinguished it, firefighters determined the entire home had smoke damage and called the Red Cross to help the family.

Three adults and one child were home at the time.

There were no injures.
