Making Oregon City Better: City Needs Someone to Serve on Urban Renewal Commission

The city of Oregon City is looking for a committed resident interested in helping improve the city to serve on its Urban Renewal Commission.

The commission looks to improve the city through decisions relating to the face of the city and its economy. Urban renewal decisions can affect the business climate in the urban renewal district as well as the surrounding area.

The deadline to apply is Friday.

The commission is made up of the five members of the city council and two at large positions that are appointed.

The current vacancy is an at large position whose term expires at the end of next year.
