Man Who Threatened Judge and Deputies Gets Probation

Jonathan Snyders had pleaded guilty to stalking and harassment.

A man who pleaded guilty to stalking and harassment was sentenced on Tuesday to three years probation. Jonathan Joseph Snyders, 39, was arrested in July after deputies were alerted to a Craigslist posting reading:

"Your a crooked [expletive] [expletive] trying to take a guys home security away judge.... I got a little something in mind for you and your crooked blueeye Clackamas County sheriff's."

The posting - which was directed at a Clackamas County judge who had signed an order of protection against him - featured a photo of a rifle pointed at a window.

They also determined that the judge had recently signed a stalking order against Snyders.

He was also ordered to stay away from the judge and the woman who had obtained the order of protection against him.
