No Injuries When Train, Semi Collide on Highway 99

There were nearly 300 people on the train when the collision happened around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.

A semi-truck carrying wood chips and an Amtrak train crashed Tuesday afternoon. There were no injuries.

The crash happened around 4:30 on Highway 99E outside of Oregon City. There were nearly 300 passengers and crew on the train. There were no injuries in the incident.

South End Road was closed for a couple of hours while fuel that spilled on to the road was cleaned up.
