Oregon City Commissioner Carol Pauli Resigns
Her family is moving outside the city limits. She vows to remain involved.

Oregon City Commissioner Carol Pauli stepped down July 1st, citing a need to move outside the city limits.
Pauli, who took office in 2012 vowing to help repair the divisions that led to the recall of Commissioner Jim Nicita, was elected to a full term the following year.
This is the last year of her term.

"I am very proud of our city," Pauli says. "I have had the pleasure to watch staff, commission, advisory boards, neighborhood associations, citizen groups and other
government agencies work together to bring many great accomplishments to our city.
"I encourage more citizens to step up and volunteer."
Her kids attend school in Oregon City and she owns KC's Midway Historic Public House.
City Manager Tony Konkol called her a "tireless advocate for the city. It is my pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with her."
Candidates wishing to run for her seat have until August 30th to file.
