Oregon City Fire Station Closed After Mold Discovered

The Hilltop Fire Station in Oregon City has been closed because of the discovery of mold.

Clackamas Fire District #1 calls it "a significant health concern."

The district says they received a positive test for two kinds of mold in the station's living quarters.

One of the types of molds is known to be toxic and cause respiratory illness.

The living quarters have been sealed off and the station will be closed until at least June 5th.

Personne; and equipment will be relocated to the John Adams Community Fire Station and the South End Community Fire Station 17.
