Beavercreek Concept Plan Road Design Survey
The Beavercreek Concept Plan is a guide to the creation of a new neighborhood in southeast Oregon City. We want to dive deeper and hear more from you about intersections and lanes of traffic preferred on Beavercreek Road at Clairmont Drive and Oregon City Golf course. The survey is open until Nov. 11

Veteran’s Day – City Closed
City offices, including City Hall, Pioneer Community Center, Municipal Court, and Utility Billing, will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11, for Veteran’s Day. The Pool is open regular hours.
Pioneer Center Holiday Fundraiser
Help support the Meals on Wheels program which assists low-income, home-bound seniors, and people with disabilities in Oregon City by purchasing holiday wreaths ($20) by Nov. 20 at the Pioneer Center, pick up is Dec. 3.
Seeking Volunteers for Committees
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee is seeking applications for a volunteer youth position learn more. Transportation Advisory Committee and Natural Resources Committee have openings available, learn more.
City Closed Nov. 28 and 29 for Thanksgiving
City offices, including the Library, Pioneer Community Center, Municipal Court, and Utility Billing, will be closed on Nov. 28 and 29, for Thanksgiving Holiday.
Pool open Nov. 29 and 30, noon to 2 p.m for lap swimming and water walking.
Ermatinger House is open Nov. 29.
Bag your leaves to help prevent flooding of street drains
Please do not rake or blow leaves, grass, and other debris onto the street. Once debris is on the street the rain carries it to the nearest storm drain which can become clogged, and potential cause property damage. Yard debris receptacles are the proper method of disposal. Weekly curbside pickup of yard debris is included in Oregon City Garbage Service – residents without garbage service may obtain weekly service. Contact Oregon City Garbage Company 503-656-8403.
Half off overdue fines at Oregon City Library
From Saturday, November 30 through the rest of 2019, the Library offers its traditional half off overdue fines for the holidays. The Library will match each dollar or cent you pay towards your overdue fines until December 31.
Neighborhood Tree Plantings with Friends of Trees in Oregon City
November 23, 8:45 a.m., Various Neighborhoods
Join local nonprofit Friends of Trees for a citywide tree planting event. You and your family can sign up at www.friendsoftrees.org/oc to join a volunteer planting crew to help plant 100 trees in Oregon City neighborhoods.
Enhancement Grant Program Workshop
November 14, 6 p.m., City Hall
Meet with staff as they review criteria and timeline for 2020 Enhancement Grant Applications. Enhancement Grants are available to non-profits that support recycling efforts, enhance wetlands, improve safety, provide training opportunities, enhance art and culture. Learn more
