Oregon City Officers Involved in Fatal Shooting Will Not Face Criminal Charges
Two officers cleared of wrongdoing in fatal shooting.

The two Oregon City Police Officers involved in last month's fatal shooting of Travis Anthony Moore as they served an arrest warrant.
A Clackamas County Grand Jury voted Tuesday "no true bill" after hearing testimony and reviewing evidence from the incident.
Officers David Edwins and David Plummer had tried to serve an arrest warrant on Moore who resisted arrest.

While fighting the officers, Moore tried to grab a gun from one of the officers.

The officers tried to give him medical aid until paramedics arrived but Moore died at the scene.
"This event was a tragedy. Mental illness has become the number one issue facing law enforcement," said Oregon City Police Chief Jim Band. "Our department has made crisis intervention training a priority; both of these officers had been trained in recognizing the signs of mental illness and de-escalation techniques.
"This incident has forever changed the lives of Mr. Moore's family and the officers involved."
