Oregon City Ready to Face-off in Court

Report has "battle lines" drawn against opponents of urban renewal.

The Oregon City News reports that lawyers for Oregon City will face off in court Monday, March 21 against petitioners opposed to urban renewal.

The battle is over a city decision to approve an anti-urban renewal petition for the ballot that would force the urban renewal agency to pay off its current debt and then go out of business.

The city said they made a mistake, thus potentially killing a vote on the measure.
