Oregon City Sex Abuser Gets 10 Years in Prison
Roy Allen Richards had been convicted of sexually abusing a seven-year-old child.
A 64-year-old man from Oregon City will spend 10 years in prison for sexually abusing a seven-year-old child. Roy Allen Richards was convicted earlier this month on multiple counts of First Degree Sexual Abuse.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, which had received a report from the victim's family last July, turned the investigation over to the Oregon City Police Department.
After their investigation - which turned up no other victims - the police handed the results of their probe to the district attorney's office, which prosecuted Richards.
