Oregon City Shopping Center is Scene of Dramatic Bust
Two arrested. Charges include theft, possession of a stolen vehicle
Dramatic moments Tuesday at the Oregon City Shopping Center.
Investigators with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office were there conducting a narcotics operation when they spotted a 1996 Honda Acura pull into the lot.
They quickly determined the car had been stolen and watched as the driver appeared to conduct a drug deal.

He then sped away.
Deputies gave chase.

The Acura did not get far, crashing into another car as it headed toward the exit.
The driver of that car was not injured.
The Acura's driver, Joshua Gary Everett Gale of Dayton, was arrested as was his passenger, Lindsay Ann McCormick of Portland.
Gale's bail was set at $200,000. He is charged with:
- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
- Ex-felon in Possession of a Firearm
- Obliterating Firearm Identification Marks
- Eluding Police in a Vehicle
- Eluding Police on Foot
- DCS of an Imitation Controlled Substance
- Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver
- Parole Violation
McCormick's bail was set at $100,000.
She is charged with theft and burglary.
