Oregon City Teacher's Aide Pleads Not Guilty to Child Porn Charges

A teacher's aide in Oregon City who worked with children in the school district, will go on trial in May on child porn charges.
James Ian McGlothlin remained silent as his lawyer entered a plea of not guilty in Federal Court in Portland.
He has been in custody since February when he was arrested after federal agents searched his home on suspicion he had tried to download child porn on his computer.

He is now charged with possession of child pornography, production of child pornography and allowing a child to be used in the production of child pornography.
McGlothlin was an adapted physical education aide with the Oregon City School District, which placed McGlothlin on leave after learning about the investigation.

The judge said a four-day trial will begin May 17.
