Sheriff's Office: Suspect Arrested In Beavercreek Double Homicide
The sheriff's office says that it happened on Upper Highland Road. Robert Hilands is charged with two counts of murder.

A 33-year-old man is in jail, charged with two counts of murder after the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office found the two victims on a property on Upper Highland Road in Beavercreek Tuesday afternoon. Robert Hilands is expected to make his first appearance in court on Thursday.

Deputies say that one of the victims has been identified as 40-year-old Dustin Louis Childress. They say that he is a transient whose last known address was in Molalla.

The other victim is 50-year-old Thomas Hegar of Beavercreek.
Both men were shot to death, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies responded to the area after a 9-1-1 call from two women saying that someone was shooting at their boyfriends. The men were found dead at the gate of the property.
