Suspect Fatally Shot by Oregon City Police Identified

Oregon City Police have identified the person shot and killed by their officers on Saturday.

They say that Travis Anthony Moore was shot and killed while resisting arrest.

Officers David Edwins and David Plummer had arrived at Moore's home at 210 S 2nd Street to arrested him for failing to appear in court on harassment charges, police say.

According to the department, Moore "immediately began violently resisting arrest."

Moore was shot during the altercation.

They tried to revive him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
